potor - Diccionario etimológico vasco-español-francés-inglés(V, G) Vulva. Del eurasiano *pot- /pod- "vulva" y sufijo nominal -or. Cp. kartvelo bud "vulva", austronesio pudai "id.", dravídico budde "vulva o penis" (véase también alu). La palabra eurasiana aparece también en indoeuropeo con inglés pod "vaina". Cf. también dravídico poto "vientre" y bod, but, put "ombligo", húngaro potroh "vientre".
(B, G) Sexe féminin. De l’eurasien *pot- /pod- "vulve, vagin" et suffixe nominal -or. Cp. kartvèle bud "vulve", austronésien pudai "id.", dravidien budde "sexe femelle ou mâle" (voir aussi alu). Ce terme eurasien apparaît aussi en indoeuropéen avec l’anglais pod "gousse". Désigne aussi le ventre (poto) et le nombril en dravidien (bod, but, put). Cp. hongrois potroh "ventre".
(B, G) Woman sex. From eurasian * pot- /pod- "vagina" and nominal suffix -or. Cp. austronesian pudai "id.", dravidian budde "genitals of women or men" (see also alu). The eurasian word appears also in indoeuropean with english pod. Cf. also the "belly" (poto) "navel" in dravidian (bod, but, put), hungarian potroh "belly".
