(1178) Clod of earth. From eurasian *mok- "cut, blunt, hard". Cp. dravidian *mok-, mongolian muqur "blunt, blunt horns", tuvan, yakut mugur "blunt", manchu mokto "id.", mokso "to break", paleosiberian *moq-/muq- "to cut", ainu mukara "axe".
(1178) Terrón. Del eurasiano *mok- "cortado, duro". Cp. dravídico *mok- , mongol muqur "cortado, sin cuernos", tuva, yakuto mugur "cortado", manchú mokto "id.", mokso "quebrar", paleosiberiano *moq-/muq- "cortar", ainu mukara "hacha".
