(G) Ghost. Expressive common word or borrowed from sp. momo "grimace" (cp. old fr. momer "to disguise", germ. Mumme "mask", etc.). Eurasian stem: cf. hgr. mumus "ghost".
(G) Fantasma. Palabra expresiva común o del cast. momo "mueca" (cp. fr. ant. momer "disfrazarse", al. Mumme "máscara", etc.). Base eurasiana: cf. húng. mumus "fantasma".
(G) Fantôme; pou. Terme expressif commun ou emprunté au cast. momo "grimace" (cp. vx fr. momer "se déguiser", all. Mumme "masque", etc.). Base eurasienne: cf. hgr. mumus "croquemitaine".
