Most of dialogs in american action films are basically made of these few words and plenty of expressions around them:
hell, fuck, shit, asshole...
It's nearly possible to make a dictionary with them.
I bet that you know what I'm saying in case you have seen Bruce Willis in Die Hard or similar movies... |

Yeah I understand! I was wondering another thing... Could "the hell" be used to say "Bien sûr / et comment !"? For example: "The Hell Im coming!!" ==> "Bien sur que je viens ! Et comment que je viens !"? What do you think about it? |

Yep ! In this case "the hell" is used to emphasize the rest of the sentence. Actually "the hell" can express a lot of things. It depends on the context. It can express anger, surprise, ...
Hope it helps !

In fact in this case it means the opposite!
"Are you coming to the party"
"The hell I am "...
Bien sur que non! |

Please note that sometimes:
To hell with..
is used to express the same thing as:
The hell with..
. |

Well if you say that in the case of the sentence :
"Are you going to this party?
The Hell I am!"
It means that you won't go there, how do you know when "the hell" means "of course" or when it means the opposite? |
