Paul Fisher presents the second of two programmes recorded on location in Japan. This week he’s in Okinawa, the group of islands to the south of the mainland. Home to a huge US military force, it’s variously belonged to China, America and Japan, and is renowned for its rich musical heritage. The programme includes sessions and interviews with some of Okinawa’s top musicians including Sadao China, Yoreko Ganeko and The Rinken Band.

Merci hvor pour ces documents très importants, tout m'interesse, mais le "Ava naguila" m'a particulièrement fasciné. Notez que je ne suis juif de loin ou de près, mais cela illustre la petitesse de notre planète Terre.
D'autre part il faut noter l'étroit lien de parenté avec la musique chinoise. Y avez-vous voyagé?
Une dernière question: qu'avez-vous changé hier au lien d'il y a presque deux ans?
Encore merci pour nous apporter vos découvertes, nous sommes sans doute peu nombreux pour en goûter, mais une fois que le goût y est, on en demande beaucoup plus!
