(1571) Bilis, hiel. De bihotz "corazón". Cp. francés "avoir mal au coeur". Var. biotzun, bieztun, behaztun. El corazón y el hígado son emparentados en otras lenguas antiguas, cf. abui bukom’ang "corazón" y bikamong "hígado", cauc. dok, halkomelem thele "corazón" y tselem "hígado" (Galloway, 2009: 765 et 839), karen tha "corazón" y thu, tho "hígado" (Henderson 1997, Shee, 2008), omótico may "corazón" y may "hígado".
