Una otra posible pista sería el i.-e. *k’ekur o indian shakura "domado, domesticado". La palabra hispánica cachorro "perro pequeño" fue también proposada, pero necesitaría una metátesis.

Une autre piste possible serait l’indo-européen *k’ekur, vieil-indien shakura "dompté, domestiqué". On a proposé aussi l’hispanique cachorro "petit chien" mais cela supposerait une métathèse.
