(prehist.) To do. From the eurasian root *gi / ki. Cp. yukaghir gin "to do", ainu ki "id."., japanese gi "id.", mongolian ki "id."., khinalug ki , badaga ki, drav. ki "id.". Iberian ekiar. See also ekin.
