ehun - Etymological Basque Dictionary-French-Spanish-English(1330?) Hundred. The comparison with english hundred or german Hundert is of course absurd. Perhaps cognate with north-east caucasian botlikh bechunu "hundred", tindi, chamalal behan "id.". The only one other possiblity is a borrowing from gothic taihun "ten" with change of number.
(1330?) Cien. Es evidentemente absurda la comparación con el inglés hundred o el alemán Hundert. Acaso emparentado con el caucásico del nordeste botlikh bechunu "cien" y tindi, chamalal behan "id.". La única otra posibilidad es un prestamo del gótico taihun "diez" con cambio de número.
(1330?) Cent. La comparaison avec l’anglais hundred ou l’allemand Hundert "id." est évidemment absurde. Apparenté peut-être au caucasien du nord-est botlikh bechunu "cent", tindi, chamalal behan "id.". La seule autre possibilité est un emprunt au gotique taihun "dix" avec changement de nombre.
