(prehistory) Woman. Old eurasian word. Cf. turkish eme "woman", mongolian eme "id.", hungarian eme "id.", kor. eme "mother", fin. emä "id.", sam. mê, emme "daughter, mother", jap. me. In caucasian eme is on the contrary "father". See also ar "male".
(prehistoria) Hembra, mujer. Vieja palabra eurasiana. Cf. turco eme "hembra", mongol eme "id.", húngaro eme "id.", cor. eme "madre", fin. emä "id.", sam.mê, emme "hija, madre", jap. me. Véase también ar "macho". En caucásico hay al contrario eme "padre".
(préhistoire) Femelle, femme. Vieux terme eurasien. Cf. turc eme "femelle", mongol eme "id.", hongrois eme "id.", cor. eme "mère", fin. emä "id.", sam. mê, emme "belle-fille, mère", jap. me. En caucasien il y a inversion avec eme "père". Voir aussi ar "mâle".
