Middle, half. Perhaps from proto-basque * er- "id." if it is the same stem as in (h)ertu "diminish", ertsi "to close, narrow", ertze "intestine", etc. Was also compared with georgian gwerd- "half". But cf. also yurak samoy. (nenets) ialia’ er ’’midday, noon’’ (ialia ’’day’’).
Mitad, medio. Tal vez del proto-vasco * er- "id." si se trata de la misma base que en (h)ertu "disminuir, decrecer", ertsi "cerrar, estrechar", ertze "intestino", etc. Fue también comparado con el georgiano gwerd- "mitad". Cf. también samoyedo (nenets) ialia’ er ’’mediodía’’ (ialia ’’día’’).
Milieu, moitié, demi. Peut-être du proto-basque *er- "id." si c’est la même base que dans (h)ertu "diminuer, décroître", ertsi "rétrécir, fermer", ertze "intestin", etc. A été également comparé au géorgien *gwerd- "moitié". Mais cf. aussi samoyède yourak (nenets) ialia’ er ’’midi’’ (ialia ’’jour’’).
