Area, entrance of the basque houses. From esku "hand". It is the place where the grain was threshed with hand. Cp. bret. dorn "handfull" and "threshing".
Area, entrada de las casas vascas. De esku "mano". Es la área donde fue desgranado. Cp. bret. dorn "puñado" y "trilla".
Aire, entrée des maisons basques. De esku "main". C’est l’aire où l’on dépiquait le grain. Cp. bret. dorn "poignée" et "battage".
