(Antiquity, cf. Ituriasso). Spring, well. Perhaps from it- "water" and urri "not much" or altaic tur "be born"? Cf. In Sardinia Turre, Turrone, putzu de Turru, Turres, Turriga, funtana Turras, kukkur Iturri, etc. In Spain cf. also Río Turia.
(Antigüedad, cf. Ituriasso) Fuente. Acaso de it- "agua" y urri "poco" o altaico *tur- "nacer"? Cf. en Cerdeña Turre, Turrone, putzu de Turru, Turres, Turriga, funtana Turras, kukkur Iturri, etc. Cf. también el Río Turia.
