(B) Wet earth; unfermented bread (L. Michelena, FLV, 1, 1969, p. 127 n°39). Perhaps from lohi "mud, dirt", wherefrom *lot- and suff. -din (cf. urdin, berdin, gordin, etc.). Cp. the participial derivate lot(h)u, from lot- "sticky".
(V) Tierra humeda; pan no fermentado (L. Michelena, FLV, 1, 1969, p. 127 n°39). Tal vez de lohi "barro, sucio", de donde *lot- y suf. -din (cf. urdin, berdin, gordin, etc. Cp. el derivado participial lot(h)u, de lot- "pegajoso".
(B) Terre humide; pain non fermenté, insipide (L. Michelena, FLV, 1, 1969, p. 127 n°39). Peut-être de lohi "boue", sale, etc.", d’où *lot- et suff. -din (cf. urdin, berdin, gordin, etc.). Cp. le dérivé participial lot(h)u , du radical lot- "qui adhère, colle".
