(s. XVI) Atar, pegar. Según L. Michelena, FLV, 4, 1970, p. 73, el verbo sería derivado de lot- < lohi "barro, lodo".
(XVIe s.) Attacher, lier, adhérer. Selon L. Michelena, FLV, 4, 1970, P. 73, ce verbe-participe proviendrait d’un radical lot- issu de lohi "boue".
