Earthworm. From lur "earth" and ar "worm".
Lombriz. De lur "tierra" y ar "gusano".
Ver de terre. De lur "terre" et ar "ver".

luhartz
(XVIIth c.) Mole-cricket (Zool.). From lur "earth" and hartz "bear". Cp. fr. "chenille" from "chien" (in basque Jainkoaren xakur "dog of God"). Not the same as luhar "earthworm".
(s. XVII) Grillo topo (Zool.). De lur "tierra" y hartz "oso". Cp. fr. "chenille" derivado de "chien" (en vasco Jainkoaren xakur "perro de Dios"). No es lo mismo que luhar "lombriz".
(XVIIe s.) Courtilière, taupe-grillon (Zool.). De lur "terre" et hartz "ours". Cp. "chenille" de "chien" (en basque Jainkoaren xakur "chien de Dieu"). Ne pas confondre avec luhar "ver de terre".
