(R) Place without snow. From lur "earth" and bel "black". It is the place where the dark soil appears again. The workers who deal with roads say "the black" for the places where there is no more snow. Var. lurbeltz, norbel, nospel.
(R) Lugar donde la nieve ha desaparecido. De lur "tierra" y bel "negra". Se trata del lugar donde la tierra negra aparece. Los obreros que se encargan de los caminos dicen "el negro" para los lugares donde ya no hay nieve. Var. lurbeltz, norbel, nospel.
(R) Lieu débarrassé de neige. De lur "terre" et bel "noir". C’est l’endroit où la terre sombre réapparaît. Aujourd’hui encore les ouvriers qui s’occupent des routes disent "le noir" pour les endroits où il n’y a plus de neige. Var. lurbeltz, norbel, nospel.
