Yellow. From *or and qualifying suff. -i. Cp. gorr-i "red", zur-i "white", etc. Perhaps cognate with lat. aurum "gold".
Amarillo. De *or y suf. qualifiante -i. Cp. gorr-i "rojo", zur-i "blanco", etc. Quizá emparentado con lat. aurum "oro".
Jaune. De *or et suff. qualifiant -i. Cp. gorr-i "rouge", zur-i "blanc", etc. Peut-être apparenté au lat. aurum "or".

One could propose also ori "yellow". Outside of basque, cf. under all proper reserves mo. orag, urag "first milk". Var. horitz, oratz, oreitz, olitz.
Calostro, primera leche después del parto. Algunos como Schuchardt (Die iberische Deklination, 5) propone el lat. *colestrum, lo que parece dudoso a L. Michelena (FHV, 314). Se puede pensar también a ori "amarillo". Fuera del vasco cf. sin garantía mo. orag, urag "primera leche". Var. horitz, oratz, oreitz, olitz.
Colostrum, premier lait après la mise bas. Certains comme Schuchardt (Die iberische Deklination, 5) ont proposé le lat. *colestrum comme étymologie, ce qui paraît douteux à L. Michelena (FHV, 314). On pourrait penser aussi à ori "jaune". En dehors du basque cf. sous toute réserve mo. orag, urag "premier lait". Var. horitz, oratz, oreitz, olitz.
