artatxiki - Dictionnaire étymologique basque-français-espagnol-anglais(1745) Mil, millet (Bot.). De arto "maïs" et txiki "petit". Autrefois le basque arto désignait le millet, mais après l’introduction du maïs en Europe il a désigné ce dernier et il a fallu créer un nouveau terme pour le millet. On dit aussi artoxehe.
(1745) Mil, mijo (Bot.). De arto "maíz" y txiki "pequeño". Antes de la introducción del maíz en Europa, el vasco arto "maíz" quería decir "mijo". Se dice también artoxehe.
