behi - Dictionnaire étymologique basque-français-espagnol-anglais(XIe s.) Vache (Zool.). D’une racine proto-basque *beh- "animal femelle" (cf. behor "jument") apparentée au bouroushaski behé "animal femelle". Pas de lien avec le caucasien b’ots’i, buts’ir "bétail" (Bengtson 2011). Cf. aussi abenaki behanem "femme, femelle" (voir gizon) et l’algonquin mehe, bihi "bisonne".
(s. XI) Vaca (Zool.). De una raíz proto-vasca *beh- "animal hembra"(cf. behor "jument" ) emparentada con el burushaski behé "animal hembra". No relación con caucásico b’ots’i, buts’ir "ganado" (Bengtson 2011). Cf. también abenaki behanem "mujer, hembra" (véase gizon) y algonquin mehe, bihi "hembra del bisonte".
(XIth c.) Cow (Zool.). From a proto-basque root *beh- "female animal" (cf. behor "mare") cognate with burushaski behé "female animal". No link with caucasian b’ots’i, buts’ir "cattle" (Bengtson 2011). Cf. also abenaki behanem "woman, female" (see gizon) and algonquin mehe, bihi "female of bison".
(XVe s.) Fois. Peut-être apparenté à bat, bede ’un’.
(s. XV) Vez. Acaso emparentado con bat, bede "one".
(XVth c.) Time (one). Perhaps cognate with bat, bede "one" ?
