Todo. Palabra frecuentemente sufijada con formas reducidas -ro, -ero. Etimología compleja. Se puede comparar la palabra con el indoeuropeo, por ejemplo el griego olos "todo" o también con el dravídico or, oro "uno". Var. oso.
All. Word often suffixed under reducted forms -ro, -ero. The etymology is difficult. It might be compared as well with indoeuropean like greek olos "all" for instance and also with dravidian or, oro "one". Var. oso.
Omnipotent. De oro "tout" et botere "pouvoir".

Mâle (animal). P. Lhande supposait un emprunt au germ. auerochs "aurochs" mais il s’agit d’une erreur due à la restriction du sens à "veau mâle" alors que le terme signifie "mâle" en général. Voir aussi ordots et ots.
Macho (animal). P. Lhande supone un prestamo del germ. auerochs pero se trata de una equivocación debida a la limitación al sentido "ternero macho" cuando la palabra es "macho animal" en general. Véase también ordots y ots.
Male (animal). P. Lhande supposed a borrowing from germ. auerochs but it is a mistake due to the restriction of the meaning to "male calf" when the word means "male animal" in general. See also ordots and ots.
